The original edition that we made over 10 years ago were all handmade, bound by hand, printed on our inkjet printer and hand-numbered. They were just over 100 pages and the books measured about 9x9 inches. We made about 120-ish total. But it was a lot of work and we sold them for only $5 more than they cost us to make. It was mostly just about trying to make an affordable way for people to enjoy Will's art. (here's a review someone wrote about it in 2003

But technology has changed a lot since then and now with these new print-on-demand companies , we can finally get the books printed the way Will wants without all the hours of sewing pages together. Will and I have been working on a layout for the new book and hope to have it ready soon (it's about 60% done). I've also been re-photographing some of the paintings because i have a much better digital camera now. It will be most of the same images as the 1st book but with about 20 new pages of drawings and paintings (new and old). We'll have it in 2 sizes in both softcover or hardcover. That way, you can choose which price fits your budget.
So the project is still happening, it has just been taking a while.
