the band i'm in has a little 5 song 7" coming out next month. i just heard all the songs that are going to be on it in their final mixes a couple of days ago and have been enjoying them. i'm kind of in shock that one song i wrote and recorded in my bathroom late at night on a bridgeless acoustic guitar is being pressed onto vinyl.

you can download it here:

if you like it you can buy our first demo cd-r ep in hand-painted water color sleeves for only $2 postage paid here:

and the 7" should be out in mid august from the same label/website

I'm in much the same boat as far as writing things destined for vinyl, and I agree - it's a tremendously nifty thing. Glad you guys have found success, although I'm always wary of things described as "nuggets..." particularly songs. Did enjoy the cdr you sent me though.

sick. are you self-releasing this? might have to grip one when it comes out. i'm gay for diy 7"ers (among other things).

it's actually getting released/financed by a local label, spleencoffin: http://www.spleencoffin.com
plently of good homemade noise/sound collage/indie pop on the label to check out.

we're in the process of hand-making 300 pieces of album art right now.
