I was just wondering if there are great differences between albums released in different countries. I know VoS had different album covers but I was wondering if tracks are different or whatnot.

Why do band do different releases anyways?

generally when there is a japanese version of an album there are extra tracks. i heard it is persuade the japanese kids to buy cd's from japan because they cost about $30. pretty expensive. otherwise the kids would order them from US distros. but not sure about VoS.

that's correct on the reasoning. VoS had different bonus tracks for each version.
