Have you dudes heard these dudes?

I think I really recommend their album "Homes, Vol. 1". It's kind of Decemberistsy but a little more sincere --

which either makes it more or less fun

-- anyway, the guy who sings has kind of a lousy voice, and some of their songs are lousy. But their good songs are totally great.

If you attribute any weight to my opinion, you need to download the following songs post haste!

"East Jesus America"
"Upstate Dreaming"
"Highway 2", which is one of the saddest things in the world
"The Legende of Jeb Minor"
"Cemetary Practice"
"Nailed to the Body of Lincoln"

so seriously. If you play the slsk game, "ok shark" has them, straight up

look allmusic agrees (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&token=ADFEAEE4791CDE4BA97220D3803E50C1B266FE36DC56 FE8A16216A5DD3A13C49840138E253F8959AD58C76F411A895 62A1450ED5D5EC56FCD92A3C3F87EFA76A3D3D5B7775&sql=10:lradqjoqoj0a) and pitchfork kind of does too (http://pitchforkmedia.com/record-reviews/o/original-brothers-and-sisters-of-love/homes.shtml)

i prefer what i have heard of "the legende of jeb minor" to "h.o.m.e.s"

but that is very little, on both counts.

also, i am in the minority of people who like singers who can't really sing that well

call me hi
