thurs 19 at the silver dollar... glad you liked it... the sound was a little rough but no biggie... what did you think of the costumes... be honest.

spacehorse

well, to be honest i didnt really notice the costumes. the only thing i did notice was the lead singer's face was painted (to look oily??).

the music was good though, and i will try to get my friends out to the next one.

i'll probably go to the silver dollar then.

how do you guys get yourself so many gigs? i just ask because my band is trying to get some shows but we are new to this.

need an opening band?:D

i dont know... we just get them, thats not really my department... whats your band website? theres never enough good bands to go around. i think the one guy from our band just calls promoters alot and drives them crazy. not really my style but it seems to work... for now. i think the theory is play a bunch of shit gigs on shit nights for promoters, blow there asses away and then insist they hook us up with some good gigs... will let you know if it works.

sounds good... were probably only gonna play a few more gigs for a while and then take a little break to owrk on some new material... we've been playing the same 1 hour (or less) set pretty much since may and we are a little bored of it even though probably hardly anyone has seen it, but playing the same set in the same town over and over gets a little tedious

cool, i just got the time from the guy, and he said we're going on 10-ish, so if you're going to show up thats the time to do it.

shit man, missed it... along with alot of other things... look what happens when you start drinking vodka on a hot summer day before noon....

how did it go anyways? How was Dan Burke? Big Crowd? what bands did ya play with?

spacehorse

thats too bad you missed us, it was a pretty good show. not too big of a crowd though, as it was monday.

dan burke was coked out of hir gourd as usual, and the band we played with were called Shangri-La, they were all from tibet, except a very white bassist. they were good for a band that had only been together for a month.

besides that we had fun which was most important. and then i got drunk.
