Anyone know what bootleg has the best soundquality for the studio versions of Vegetable Man and Scream Thy Last Scream? Thanks!

brb I'll ask my dad.

I remember I had this English teacher who would always write things on tests like "Name if you were a unicorn" and whatnot. Once she wrote "Name if you were a sheep" and I wrote Syd Baaaaaaret. GET IT? HA. HA. HA.

Thanks though. I just got a torrent called "The Barrett Tapes" and it says it uses the best possible soundquality. And they're right, it sounds awesome.

Thanks anyways guys!

Wow, those two songs are awesome. Shame they were never released...

"Magnesium Proverbs" is a bootleg you can find pretty easily that has random Syd tracks with Floyd and without, including his only solo gig (only 4 tracks but historically cool), Lucy Leave/King Bee, and Vegetable Man/Scream Thy Last Scream

"What Syd Wants" is a remastering of the only 2 full concerts that exist of Syd with Floyd, sadly just like the solo gig there's barely any audible vocals but the instruments don't sound TOO bad
...i don't know about any torrents, just thought i'd put my 2 cents in

Here's the disc I made myself... It's essentially Pipers + the early singles + Jugband Blues + Vegetable Man & Scream Thy Last Scream... Should be all the officially released Syd Barrett stuff with Pink Floyd (except Vege and Scream wich was finished but not released) nbut minus multiple versions and/or mixes...

1. Astronomy Devine
2. Lucifer Sam
3. Matilda Mother
4. Flaming
5. Pow R Tic H
6. Take Up Thy Stethoscope
7. Interstellar Overdrive
8. The Gnome
9. Chapter 24
10. The Scarecrow
11. Bike
12. Arnold Layne
13. Candy & a Currant Bun
14. See Emily Play
15. Apples & Oranges
16. Scream Thy Last Scream
17. Vegetable Man
18. Jugband Blues

Syd also plays but doesn't sing on Paintbox, Remember a Day, and Set the Controls For the Heart of the Sun (I got pretty obsessed with the guy a while back)

The book Crazy Diamond is worth reading, they turned it into a documentary which i know is on youtube, i think its called The Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett Story, which i read somewhere that he watched with his family when it was on TV

You'd think in 2010 we'd have Audio CDs with 80+ minutes...

Yeah I excluded those because they weren't Barrett songs, you know? :p
