Hello everybody. If anyone remembered I said a while back that I had done an interview with the Music Tapes and was trying to get it published. Well, the magazine stopped publishing so it is up now right here on my blog (http://thecreativeintersection.blogspot.com/2009/04/music-tapes-interview.html). I'm sorry you have to go to the blog to see but it's so long that it won't fit on this post. Thank You and tell me what you think.

Thanks very much, David! I enjoyed reading this a lot. I'm so happy to hear that 2nd Symphony is coming out and will be performed. Going to see 2nd Symphony live is moving to the important section of my to-do list.

“Oh, but… the truth is it’s beautiful, it’s wonderful. I mean its such a wonderful experience. That’s kind of how life is. I mean if you ever… you know like swimming in the ocean when its cold. When you’re in there, it’s the greatest thing in the world and there’s pretty much nothing in better in life. But, have you ever stood there and looked at it and thought, ‘Oh my god, its cold, I don’t want to go in,’ and you stand there forever not going in. And it just seems sometimes that’s how life is. You deny yourself the things you love the most and you almost have to…it’s almost like you don’t get out of life without being asked to exhibit a certain measure of courage even if its your own funny brand of courage you have to do it, you have to do it, so for me it’s a bit like jumping.”

yeah, I thought the audio format was iffy too. So, does anyone know a good website to convert audio into mp3s?

Any idea how to do it through itunes?

Just for the record, the way to convert files in iTunes:

Go into your audio importing options (Preferences > General tab > Import Settings button) and choose whatever file format and quality you want your files to be. Then go back to your playlist and right-click a song or songs and there will be an option to "Create _____ version," depending on which file format you chose. It'll make a duplicate file in your playlist in the new file format.

SHOULD THE MUSIC TAPES FORM THEIR OWN RELIGION, WHAT WOULD BE ITS TEN COMMANDMENTS?

1. Thou shalt not make commandments.
2. There shalt be no family where one of us is not.
3. Thou shalt contend that there are no nations.
4. Thou shalt contend that there are no boundaries.
5. Thou shalt admit that there are no great men, but that all men and women are great.
6. Thou shalt end the myth of averages.
7. Thou will change the world for better or worse no matter what thou does.
8. Thou has understood the right and wrong since the moment thou was born.
9. Each and every one of us create and are in compliance with every bit of injustice in the world.
10. Each and every one of us create and are in compliance with every bit of good in the world…And so the choice will always rest with each of us alone.
11. My teeth are exceptionally strong, and can cut through steel.
12. The word ‘abdomin’ shalt be given to dinner, bathed in saliva, and be given as gifts to toothless old men to be worn as beards.

and the bit about the presidential milkmen.

Actually, I had a stroke of brilliance and redownloaded it and opened it with audacity and then exported it as an mp3. It works for me in iTunes now so hopefully it will work for everyone else!

Here it is: http://www.mediafire.com/?vmd0xnyddae

Also David, I hope you will get around to posting your interview with Theo from Nana Grizol!

Your talking about the audio (which I'm working on) right? If your looking for the interview I did, it's in the Nana Grizol section

David G.

Ok I have posted the audio to my Nana Grizol interview in the Nana Grizol section (and, unfortunetly, it is still in WAV audio format)
