cause i'm so high right now... like gone from this world salvia from our friend like about a half hour ago. and all i can't think about is how i can't wait to get up early and have my coffee. all i can think about is coffee.

so what do you like to drink early in the morning? i like instant. it does the job perfectly and i am actually in love with the taste cause i've been drinking it so long. got sick of dunkin donuts and starbucks is gross... local places are just too coffee culture-ish and make me feel like i'm on friends or like in seattle in the year 2050. hang on lemme go get a picture. hahaa the lady on the tv just said "no obligation consultation"

My favorite coffees are Gavalia's Royal Winter & a local brand, Roast & Toast's City Park Blend. Both of which I'm out of.

damn, now this thread is making me sad because not only am i our of those...all I have right now is decaf & I don't even know how that crap got in to my house.

I'm in no way picky when it comes to coffee. If it is hot, I will drink it in the morning.

Anything but instant. Guatemalan is really good, that's what I usually drink. Anything but instant.

I've just recently developed a coffee addiction. Dunkin Donuts kind right now.

I don't see the appeal of coffee shops though. I'd rather drink it at home, seems like a waste of time.

otherwise i default to sumatra or guatemala. usually sumatra though, cause its a little less acidic than guatemalan.
though in guatemala the coffee was OFF DA HOOK
specifically coffee from antigua. yummers!

we don't have dunkin donuts in wisconsin! its total bullshit.
this is a hard transition for someone who lived on a road in connecticut that had FOUR dunkin donuts within 3 miles of each other. FOUR!
look it up, rt 31 (main street) Willimantic, CT.

that's not much of a shock... within 3 miles of each other... that's kind of standard in the north east a lot of the time. i've probably got 6 or 7 within three miles of EACH OTHER. not necessarily me... but of each other.

I go through hot tea moods and coffee moods. I think it depends on the weather, really.
And we have no Dunkin Donuts within 20 miles of us, it really sucks.

is dunkin donuts really that good??? I don't think i've ever been to one. (of course, I think the nearest one to me is at the very least an hour and 1/2 away)

It's been pretty alright in my experience, but you aren't missing anything too extraordinary. If you ever come along one, though, I would suggest stopping by.

there's a great coffee shop in my hometown where i used to work; they roast all their own beans and stuff. i'll usually pick up a half-caf bag of the black velvet blend when i'm home and then store it in my freezer at school and make espresso with my bialetti stove-top thingie. in terms of going to coffee shops, there are a bunch of good ones in berkeley. cafe med has great coffee and super cheap good food. brewed awakening is cheap and good and they make great fresh-squeezed juice. the cafe on campus, fsm, is pretty decent, but mainly i just go there because it's a great place to study and people-watch with friends.
