I'm very excited, and honored to let you all know, that my little tape label (foxpop) is releasing Jim's latest set of recordings "Von Hemmling - You (Being My Body Whole)". Thou this isn't exactly new material it was the last set of songs Jim recorded, which was around 2004. (To the best of my knowledge). One of the supporting players on it is the infamous John Fergunson, of the Apples, Ulysses, and Big Fresh Forever. You can pick up a copy BY CLICKING HERE (http://the-collective.net/~foxpop) at our website. Tapes in the US is $5 and $7 elsewhere. And for all you digitally inclined folks. All tapes come with Free digital downloads as-well!

Least creative troll ever: you're doing it right.

Plex, is your label based in Grand Rapids? Cause I definitely live really close, and I was just checking out your website.

Oh hey! Sorry i've kinda been away on holiday! GlowRightIntoYou, I actually live in Rockford, but i do just about everything in Grand Rapids. And that's really cool you live close by! Where abouts?
Also quixoticgoat, thanks a bunch for the heads up! I got it all fixed. I'm a novice website maker at best...
That would be totally awesome if it got mentioned on the e6 radio show!!! I also have a Little Fyodor tape coming out soon!
Cheers, Alex

I live in Kalamazoo. Not too far away. I'll have to order a tape, too. Nice job on the website, too.

oh cool! have you ever been to down town g-rap? By vertigo (the record store) and the DAAC etc..? And thanks! I'm glad you like the site so far!

01-03-2009, 12:30 PM
Yeah, definitely. I haven't seen a lot, but one of my friends goes to Kendall, and we visit him sometimes. I go up there for music every now and then, too. Over a few of us went to go see Ronnie Baker Brooks at Rosa Parks Square. Awesome show. I'd like to go to the record store, though. I've heard good things. I just ordered that Von Hemmling tape too, by the by.

Hey, is your friends name Ben by any chance? And yeah that record store is great. The owner always stacks some great e6 stuff there!

01-03-2009, 01:18 PM
No, not a Ben, haha. I'll really have to check out that store, though. Anywhere that carries some e6 is good with me, haha.

that section of gr is great! it's been ages since i've been in to the record shop. I should go soon, I've found some really great things at scavenger hunt too. i'm always so disappointed that most of the times i'm there people want to meet at the bob... and then stay there forever.

& i'll have to order some stuff from you in the not too distant future :)

01-03-2009, 04:21 PM
not a bad idea, i'd be down for it.

01-03-2009, 11:31 PM
YEAH! I don't think it would be much of party. As there is only three of us. I think...

01-03-2009, 11:34 PM
Three is a CROWD. There should definitely be a Michigan townhall meeting at some point.

01-04-2009, 04:29 PM
Maybe when a good band comes around. Maybe an e6 related one!

01-04-2009, 10:33 PM
Absofruitly. I'm gonna go see Elf Power in Pontiac on the 28th. That's a little ways from GR, though.

01-04-2009, 10:51 PM
I think there are more than three around here from mi...?
anyway, I might be heading down for the show on the 28th, not 100% sure yet.

01-04-2009, 11:21 PM
Yeah, I thought there were more than three. I'm hoping that the weather will be decent for the show. It's been pretty nice for the past few weeks. Well, considering Michigan winter, haha.

01-05-2009, 07:24 AM
yeah, today was soild ice.....

01-05-2009, 08:55 PM
That's funny cause today I was solid GOLD. BOOM. I AM SO GODDAMN FUNNY. SHAZZAM.

I'm hoping that the weather will be decent for the show.

me too, the weather is my main concern (especially with the long drive).

01-06-2009, 11:30 AM
Yeah, we'll just have to see what happens. I think Laura Carter can control the weather, and that might be a useful asset to our situation.

01-07-2009, 11:53 AM
Wednesday night is Business Time, according to some good New Zealanders that I know. If you catch what I'm saying.

01-09-2009, 07:34 PM
