pretend you're a 15 year old girl and your 16th is in a few day, but everyone, including your family, have forgotten about it completely.

so on your 16th birthday, you're really sad and decide to go to the neighborhood park to swing to get your mind off this horrible experience. you come back home a few hours later, and as you walk in the door, all of your friends and family yell, "HAPPY SWEET 16!!!!!!!!!!!!"

This actually happened to me. I'm not even joking-- minus the part about the neighborhood park. I went grocery shopping with my mother.

Oh dear I am so lame.

Was Derek there? Isn't he in that band?

no, he wasn't. but charlie does guitar and sings for 63 crayons, so that's why it's listed like that.

Set list?! That looks like an amazing fucking show.

If someone posts a set list, could you please precede it with a big SPOILER ALERT!!! ? I want to be (holiday) surprised before the show, but it would be fun to look at the setlists after the show, to compare the songs night by night.

or maybe start another thread for this purpose?

As I understand it, and correct me if I'm wrong, there aren't specific bands--it's just everyone up on stage all playing each others songs as they go. It's one long set by the Elephant 6 Orchestra. They just denoted the bandnames based on what song they were performing at that given time.

Oh my, oh my. I am so excited, I wish I could sleep until Saturday because I'm afraid I might have a heart attack in the interim, I cannot wait!! I can't concentrate at work right now and I still have to get through tomorrow.

So the knitting factory appears to have sold out, but I can't tell for sure. Is there somewhere else to get tickets besides their website?

Me and 2-3 other guys are going to make it to one of these fucking shows, we are just waiting to pick which one we want to drive across the country for. Student loan money for the win.
