They (actually just Gruff acoustic I think) did one a few years ago where they had a bingo machine and a song allocated to each number and had to play the songs as the balls came out of the machine :D

Man, I hate the fact that I'm coming home like two weeks after they play in NY. I need to see them again.

i saw them on letterman. i tried to like it... i really did. but i don't know.

When I first heard them, late 90's, I didn't see the greatness, either. Soon after I realized how terribly, terribly wrong I was. You can't go wrong with a single one of their albums, even the newest, which is a lot more straightforward than most of their other stuff, but I would get the one previous, "Love Kraft", last.

They just have that something, all of their songs are well-crafted and have great psychedelic flourishes, and their styles stretch from nostalgia-ish and strings-based songs to acoustic to strait ahead power-pop indie to epics to full-pumping techno (which they blared out of a blue tank they used to drive around UK festivals one year).

see if you can still say "I don't know" after watching these:

I'm driving 5 hours to see the Cats Craddle show. Well worth the trip.

They should change their name to Super Orange Furry Animals so they can be SOFA.

I was planning on going to the Ithaca show which is only 45 minutes away, but if they're playing with Jeffrey Lewis in Buffalo, which is two hours away, it might be worth the extra hour.

The New Orleans show was canceled. I can't find any information on it anywhere, but I just got an e-mail from the venue saying that my credit card will be refunded.

The venue stated that the reason is because of "poor ticket sales due to Mardi Gras celebrations". Mardi Gras, are you serious? To anyone who has never been to "Mardi Gras" and is considering it... please don't. It isn't enjoyable. I know I'm taking my frustrations out on "Mardi Gras" now... but it really is simply the worst display of annoyingness in the country. And it cancels my concerts. Damn you Fat Tuesday.
