And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful
wife
And you may ask yourself-Well...How did I get here?

And you may ask yourself
How do I work this?
And you may ask yourself
Where is that large automobile?
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful house!
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful wife!

And you may ask yourself
What is that beautiful house?
And you may ask yourself
Where does that highway go?
And you may ask yourself
Am I right?...Am I wrong?
And you may tell yourself
MY GOD!...WHAT HAVE I DONE?

So did I. I was addicted to talking heads. Tom Tom Club, too.

No, but I've always wondered if I could slowly change my face to match those in movies, on TV, in magazines, and in books. Like, I just keep that facial structure fixed in my mind and hope that a subtle approach will be made to that ideal. I mean, this is an ability I share with everyone else, right?

I have often wondered why, after i had gotten half way there, I changed my mind.

I'm being David Byrne from the Stop Making Sense tour for Halloween. It's going to rule.

Hmm... maybe you picked your ideal based on some childish whim or momentary impulse. You should try to arrive at one that bears a relationship to you and your personality.

Haven't listened to Talking Heads in ages, think it's time to rediscover them.

I love the Talking Heads but I can't stop associating them with being five in the backseat of my dad's truck. I'm trying to listen to them from a different angle, but it's all childhood memories. At least I'm associating good things with them, not like music you lose in a bad breakup because it reminds you too much of the other person.
