i'll be staying in cape cod for three weeks in december. i know i'll be seeing boston and visiting nyc too. any places i should make sure not to miss while i'm there? i've never been, and i'm really excited, but i'm a bit overwhelmed too because i just live on a small island at the moment.

There is some tiny, homestyle, greasy-spoon restaraunt on the cape that has some fantastic blueberry pancakes.
Sorry, I cant remember the name.
when you come to NYC, go on the Staten Island Ferry downtown. It is free and well worth the trip. Also go to Katz's Deli in the lower east side and get a $15 pastrami sandwich. Worth it, as well.
I don't know shit about boston. I took the chinatown bus there a few times to see my bro when he lived there, thats about it. I saw the head of the charles. that was cool.

Skip Plymouth Rock unless you enjoy being severely disappointed. From wikipedia: "Plymouth Rock, described by some as "the most disappointing landmark in America" because of its small size and poor visitor access."

I think the breakfast-cafe place on the Cape you're thinking of is near Truro. I'll look it up. It's good.
