Two questions:
1. Who is going to see the Apples (for free!!) tomorrow in Cranford?
2. Would anybody like to go to a park today? You pick the park and I'll come, so long as it's within a 20 minute train ride of Manhattan. Even if you don't want to accompany me, tell me about some great parks.

I'm no longer in NY...but Corona Park in Queens is lovely. All those crazy old things from the 1964 World's Fair, plus two museums, a small zoo and a merry go round.

There's the park up in the Bronx that houses the Cloisters; that's nice too. But it's usually nicer when the summer is full on, by now the green would be fading, I expect.

i would love to see apples, they always cancel the scandinavian part of their european tours...
if you're willing to expand that 20 min trip to a 8-10 houre trip we could hang out in kungsparken (kings park) in linköping, sweden.

How are you getting there? I'm unexpectedly in Chatham and all about carpooling.

Aah, but in New York where businesses change every few months, something that's lasted that long is pretty cool.
