i find this performance of the same tune nearly as awesome as the first. the use of the garbage cans makes me happy for some reason.

Apparently they're going to film a video at a different place in Brooklyn for each track. www.flyingclubcup.com is going to have them all.

i think this is the best track off the record, for sure. i remember when i went to the elephant gun video shoot he played this song for us with just the uke and i was hoping he would keep it kind of minimal when he finished it... and he did, and now it's amazing. great great

I caught the end of one of his live sets last week and, when he played this, all I could do was grin. It was amazing.

man, the live show prices for his next tour are rediculous... it comes out to over $60 for two of them, and the fucking extra unnecessary ticketmaster charges don't help at all. blaaaah.

Beirut is definitely one of my favorite contemporary artists. Seriously.

It just sucks knowing that Zach Condon is kind of a pretentious douchebag. Which in no way will stop me from buying his records, going to his live shows, etc.

There's a cool Beirut Take Away show up.

I think Optical Atlas might have posted the Of Montreal/Axe Riverboy one some time ago. It's a sweet website, I suggest checking all of the videos out.
