So, I was wondering if you would like a mixtape. I have some songs that I think you would like to hear, if you haven't heard them already. Besides that, I was thinking about making tapes for people and your name came to mind. Let me know if you would like one unleashingthetruth@hotmail.com

p.s. other's can have mixtapes too, if they'd like

haha yes i remember

no catch freakboy

here's an idea...1)create a list of people interested 2)draw names, like secret santa, to see who will make a mixtape for whom(is it whom?). that way each person is only in charge of making one mixtape at time 3)post the list and the people paired are in charge of getting all the necessary information needed

we could keep drawing names every month or so until everyone has a mixtape from all the names on the list.

that is just an idea...

thats kind of what i was thinking

another idea is once everyone gets their mixtapes we could post the tracklisting of each mixtape, that way instead of sending out so many tapes we could just download each others mixtapes. or something like that, i'm not sure if i explained that right.

that's the best way to do it.

the fun of creating a mix-tape is getting one, atleast I think so.

also, say we decide to send out mixtapes each month. people who didn't join the first time can join for the next round of mixtapes. people can come and go as they please.

who should be the organizer of this mixtape trading preservation society?

henrikhhh

if one would send the same tape to two (or even more) people of the society, then would one be disqualified? heh! he-he-heh!

hows this,

send me in email - johnny@nervesandgel.com

in the subject line put:

e6 mixtape - then your e6 screenname

then in the body put your address.

i can store these emails in a seperate folder

on januray 31 i'll randomly send an address to each person. involved.

then come feburary if we want to do it again, we'll put out reminder around the 15th that way more people can join, and then on the 29th (or sooner) i'll send out emails again.

hmmmm.....maybe we ammend the rules to also include mix cds as well (for those of you who are unable to make tapes)?

henrikhhh

don't worry. someone'll probably get confused and send you a tape deck instead of, well, a tape

i personally like mix tapes better, but i don't think anyone would mind if you sent them a cd. i know the last time we did this we decided on cds because a lot of people didn't have tape players.

a couple other notes

if you send/sent me your address please participate, if you decide not to do this, please let me know before the 31st that way no one gets left out

also it will be completely random, and i'd like to keep it anonymous until you get the tape, that way its sort of a suprise. i'm going to work on a random generator thing to match up names. i'll also keep track of who has who so next time you won't have the same person.

there will be some people overseas so shipping may be a little bit more, i think $5.00 at most.

i'm ok amending the rules. however, i think we should try to send tapes and only use cds if necessary.

not po-faced at all.

just a fan of tapes but i cds are great too.i think i prefer making mixtapes to making mix cds but in terms of listening, i don't care which medium is in my stereo.

oh, and i don't mind shipping to england.
