Ummm, I actually only taped Daniel and Dark Meat. I basically took this year off from Popfest for various reasons. There was another gentleman who taped tons of it as I understand though, so I'm sure a lot of that will come around.

I've got 5 or 6 performance cut up and encoded to flac and mp3. Just need to tag them. Expect them sometime tomorrow.

and an awful recording of Circulatory System that I'll probably just keep for myself. The set sounded great but I wanted to enjoy myself so I just put the recorder on top of the PA and forgot about it.

Plus I'm working on some What the Heck Fest shows I recorded, a recent Ladybug Transistor show, and some local North Texas bands. Needless to say, I'm a busy boy.

How is Dark Meat? They're playing in LA on my birthday and I'm not sure if I should go.

Terrible. "hey lets get everyone we know and all of our ex's and their ex's together and see if we can make some sort of sound happen"

Dark Meat was fucking great. A least one new song that I remember. Definately a Popfest highlight for me.

Strange, so do I. It worked in Firefox last night but for some reason it's only working in IE right now. I'll watch it today and if it doesn't correct itself I'll put them on a new server.

EDIT: It looks like its working now.

eh... I guess I'm one of the few who thought Dark Meat was awful.

I only caught the end of Dark Meat and I found them great but they are a jam band and I didn't have to see a whole set of jams, which can get obnoxious in 40Watt heat.
