Does anyone know anything about FFFM? I just found out about them from the New Sound of Numbers Myspace page.

Looks like a new band fronted by Vanessa of Pylon and backed by her husband Bob, Hannah from New Sound of Numbers, Kay from Casper and the Cookies, Will Hart, and some other folks whose names I don't recognize.

Looks like they played a show during Athfest but there's not much else on the website. Anyone know anything else?

They played about 4 songs during Athfest, this was their first and only show, and were still going by Supercluser then. Right after Athfest they changed their name to FFFM. Here are some photos I took from their Athfest show.

I checked it out on MySpace and I was underwhelmed.

I just grabbed a copy of their EP the other day and I was pretty impressed. Two tracks in particular; "The Mermaid's Table" and "Anyone" are quite top-notch.

We are finishing up recording a full length project at Jason NeSmith's Bel Air studio.
Mixing soon. Hopefully a release by the end of the year (2008).
