Default of Montreal Plays Hissing Fauna Are You The Destroyer Tour

It's basically* confirmed - this fall oM will be doing a full U.S. tour playing the entirety of Hissing Fauna. Even though we groan about the Hissing Fauna songs in the setlist, I think this is kinda cool. It'll be great to see Cato As a Pun and Mutants every night. They usually play 75-90 minutes, and the album is only 50ish, so I hope the do all the Icons stuff or maybe a second mixed set. If they do the Icons stuff it will be worth traveling for. I wonder what they'll be doing with the theatrics/projections? Will they try to replicate what they did in 2007? Can you imagine a 10-year Skeletal Lamping tour with a full recreation of the stage show?

*one festival date announced, booking agency website lists of Montreal Plays Hissing Fauna Are You The Destroyer as a touring act on their roster with formatting allowing for more dates to be posted.

The last time they played the album in full (Athens Halloween show) they did Du Og Meg and No Conclusion, so I imagine we'll be getting at least those two. I can't wait. I'll probably go to a couple shows on this tour.

bought double-tap rfid wristband for said festival (music tastes good in long beach september) and looking forward to their show as it's been a while and there is so much uncertainty. What the setlist? Solely entire Hissing or a few more to shoot from the cannon? What will the crowd be like? For some reason I think they'll be fervent after a saturday of partying and have it.

They just better nots conflict w Ride.

      Sup y'all.

Strange seeing/hearing these backwards hat wearing chillax brohamo frat boys in front of me singing along, but I guess that's where we are nowadays. Crowd overall was into it with pockets of dancing and jumping. A lot more into oM than say Ride who had me, this blond girl in front of me, and a few sprinkles of brits with their periodic splattering of "all right Lads" up into the night air. Some girl was whining "Who are these guys? I want to see Weeeennnn" so looked over at her in stoned stare which immediately closed her loud ignoramus mouthy mouth.

lick my cleanly shaven armpits, Luv, underneath the fountain (*kisses*)

Heard of the band Thunderpussy? It's like that a crazy kinda pussy as it's real rocky before the warm rain comes down on you.

It was such a cool experience--I've never seen them at an outdoor festival, and honestly I thought I wouldn't enjoy it as much, but it was awesome. I'd seen all those songs on recent tours EXCEPT Faberge Falls for Shuggie, so it was so amazing getting to see it. One of my all time faves.
