If you were going to cut the first album down to approx 45 minutes

that's really hard...

All the tracks are actual tracks not like how Black Foliage has the sound collage. Everything fits perfect on this album... what would you say is the "filler?"

I enjoy the flow the album has, it kind of reminds me of having big intense dreams that turn into smaller strained ones.

I thought the idea of this thread was really cool so I'll be the first to actually play along. This is one of my favorite records but I think its clear from Inside Views that this album could have been sequenced a bunch of different ways and potentially gone in a completely different direction. Not that I want to change this record but IF I had to this was my idea for how to get it down to 45 minutes working just with the source material and cutting some stuff out:

Forever (cut off 9 or so seconds of silence at end of track)
Inside Blasts
Prehistoric
Your Parades (cut silence at end of track and sequence into...)
Round (cut first half of song and start around 3:08 with guitar/drum sound into "theres no time" vocal)
Waves of Bark and Light
Illusion
Days To Come (In Photographs)
Time or Dateline
How Long?
Yesterday?s World (cut small counting intro and start with guitar)
Joy
Lovely Universe
The Pillow
Stars
Fingers
Symbols and Maps
Forever

Not that I think its better, but I thought the pace and circular nature of beginning and ending with forever was a cool listen.... Critiques and heretical omissions welcome.

I would have never thought to re arrange the track listing.... hmmm. I'm listening threw too, but am only about 3/4th the way through.
