      I've never been into this
Valentine's Day is probably one of the worst day to go to the restaurant
      and i don't believe it's an important day in a couple's life.
i offer gifts to my wife because i love her, not because it's the day i have to do this

but the most important thing is to have a good time with the one you love, no matter the day, even for valentine's day

      That’s so true.
I’m not a big believer in Valentines but I had a great one with getting to see all my friends this year, and I think I might have set up two of my friends together, which is super cute to me.
Plus I wandered the streets until 2 am with my best friend, and my other close friend, who as i said above were super cute and coupley but not in an exclusive way

I had to work and everyone at the restaurant was in a really crabby mood lol

Nothing special for me this year. What kind of place do you live in that you can wander the streets at 2am? I'm intrigued.

What kind of place doesn't allow its citizens to wander the streets until 2am? I'm horrified.

      Suburban areas.
If you're out past midnight on foot in my area, chances are you will probably be stopped by the police and questioned.
A while back, my friend was stopped and searched at 9 pm as it was getting dark out because he had a backpack on and somebody called the police in fear that he was thief. Everyone here is paranoid and the cops get a kick out of making people feel afraid/ashamed

      Aww sorry to hear that.
We actually were wandering more around 10pm, then we went back to my friends student house, and we just hung out there.
It’s too snowy and cold here to stay out for long otherwise we could probably walked forever :P

Well, that sounds awful. I've lived in suburban areas my whole life, and have never experienced that. Even the small shitty towns I've been to have had at least something of a "night-life," even if its just four rednecks and a deer hunting arcade game.
