Altered states of conciousness
Everybody describe your dreams and Acid trips to me. I would very much like to hear them. Even if they don't make sense, do your best to describe them.
slightly off topic, where have all the acid heads gone? ten years ago EVERYBODY i knew were fryin' balls at least every other day. take one day off to recover, score another 10-strip and go ape-shit all over again. after i graduated, that's all me and my friends did. i must have watched frank zappa's "200 motels" a million times. those were the best times of my life, and i will never back off that statement. now i'm 30 and i don't know a soul who messes around with fryin anymore. it's kinda sad. i feel like i'm trying to keep the flame alive for my generation. long live lsd.
I'm only 16, but I plan on doing many a shroom in college if that restores your faith any.
I want to try it, but how can I be sure that I won't pull a Syd Barrett? As much as I like being a little crazy from time to time, I don't want to go completely insane.
acid is really hard to find in the central valley. you have to make a trip to san francisco for that. now heroin and meth; fairly easy to get here. not that i know where to buy meth nor would i want to.
one time, kirk, stevie and myself dropped acid and hung out in my car. eventually i had to pee so i did so on the fence we were parked by. it looked just like a creature. real creepy like. so we named it willard. and im not even going to mention the patrick patterson trees. hah..
you have to do A LOT of acid to pull a syd barret. and i do mean, a lot.
drugs are bad for you. i've lost friends because of drugs. and i know that i'll lose more too, the way things are going. they fuck you up in the long run - always. i mean i love syd and stuff but i wouldn't do acid...
i like dreams though. a lot. one time i had a lucid one when i was really young - it sorta looked like this and was terrifying
sorry to talk so much anyway

I've only dropped twice, and the second time was the hardest I've ever tripped. I was wandering through this park with 6 other people and it was one hell of a journey. I've shroomed a lot more, and those experiences are some of the best I've ever had.
well, there's always the morning glory route, if you don't mind the fairly intense nausea & fisheye...

(I still tear up...it's such a simple beautifully written letter.)
I feel like the experiance (no sensory filter) really opened my eyes to understand why my parents to what it is they do. man, comming to terms with my parents was the last thing i expected to do while tripping.
this is a really great documentary about LSD, for those of you who have heard the newest black lips album, some of the audio in one of the later clips should be familiar.
