I'm thinking about driving up from Gainesville, Florida to see Circulatory System's show at the 40 watt on Aug 10th as part of the Athens Popfest. I'm just wondering if they will be playing a full setlist, or if it will be just a few songs? Anybody have any idea? I know there are like 12 bands playing, but I don't want to drive like 12 hours for only a few songs.

Looks pretty good, I will probably make the drive. Looking forward to Casper and the Cookies too.

They played can you come down with us. Fuck yeah. And I'm almost positive that Bill was the redhead with chops playing bass occasionally?

Yes. Here's a photo of stage right. And that's Charlie from 63 Crayons on guitar and of course, John.

A few more photos just to document the rest of the lineup from this wonderful show. I think this covers everyone who played.

Hannah and Heather, stage left

Stage right showing Peter and Derek (and Charlie again)

I really enjoyed the show, and it was well worth the drive. Thanks for the pictures.

I made a fool out of myself when I tried to talk to Hannah, but that show/evening was amazing on the whole. Lou2ser and I were both drooling over the oversized setlist propped up in front of Will, but I don't think anyone got to steal it. Damn 40 Watt stage!

It was not lost to the stage. I'll post a pic sometime this week.

el topo, What setlists did you end up with?

You're quick and crafty. I guess it helps to carry a backpack around. I ended up with the Folklore, Ideal Free Distribution, and New Sound of Numbers set lists. Did you post that photo of that Music Tapes poster in Wuxtry? :)

I'm glad someone here got the setlist for CS! I meant to, but I was so in awe and happy that I totally forgot. Yes, post a pic.

My copy doesn't sound too great, I'm up close to stage left. In fact my recorder was on top of the PA.

However, your scream cuts right through everything. :)

Wow, they didn't really play Ice and Rings/Aqua Waters though did they? I think I would have remembered that...!

DRG's scream was hilarious. At least for Will's "WTF?" reaction!

Yes they did. Funny how euphoria can alter your memory.

OK, now I want to hear a recording. It's true, I have no recollection of that at all, and I was only about a foot from Will...

here's a very short clip of the popfest 2007 show. I was too close to the stage and the sound overwhelmed my camera's mics, so mute it when you play it. I'm kind of reluctant to share it because it's so short -- but I feel like photos alone can't convey the energy of that night's performance. This may give you a slightly better feel for it:

Hey I remember that! I was standing right in front of the stage left PA and will, and I remember a dude just in front of me letting out a crazy yell and will noticing. I was wearing a flaming lips tshirt.

It is on my cell phone and I'm not really sure how to get it here, however if you give me your email address i will just send it to you and maybe you can figure out how to share it with the rest of the board. It is 24 seconds of Can You Come Down With Us, and the last 4 seconds are right when they started doing the little OTC bounce thing. Audio is shit but you can hear what they are singing, video is as good as a cell phone camera can do.

I have an Olivia Tremor Control set list from the Black Foliage tour, complete with cloud drawings in the margins. Unfortunately, I didn't tape shows back then.

Yeah, I'll take a picture of it and post it sometime this week. I am the one who sent you pictures of several E6 t-shirts that you didn't have in your database.

Thanks for those. The database is getting pretty impressive these days.

Here's a one-of-a-kind mailer that Olivia used several years ago. Note the cotton under the tape that signifies a bird's nest. I did alter this by photoshopping my name and address out.

Here's the set list. I can give you the exact date of the show if you need it. I'd have to go dig it up off an old calendar, but I should have it. This is not a complete set list, however. There was an encore consisting of several songs, one of which was The Opera House.

Hey radiowires,

That Homer quote at the end of your posts is my favourite line in the Simpsons movie - thanks for reminding me!
