I was there. Quite rocking! Sucky turnout, though. There was something like 5 other major shows tonight, which also happens to be a Monday.

My girlfriend K w/ K, who first saw Elf Power 9 years ago last week and has caught all of their incarnations, has insisted that I post:

Heather McIntosh is all happenin'

I concur.

I didn't get to talk to Derek this time around, but i did meet Jimmy, who is really nice.
His Folklore album is really super-great.
The setlist covered a lot of ground, I think. I'm not terribly familiar with their whole catalog, but they played all the older songs I wanted to hear.

Anyone who lives near San Francisco should go see Califone this weekend, by the way.

One of of Montreal's stops at SXSW 05 was at Urban Outfitters, and it was too packed to get in, and I'm standing on the sidewalk with my wife watching the show through the plate glass window, and who's standing next to me but Derek. I just made minor small talk but failed I think to let him know how rad is is.

Dude, I forgot to tell you - you're rad.
