Wednesday night at the Georgia Theatre and Saturday night at 40 Watt...tough rooms to fill.

Will the band ever become a popular live attraction? It seems as though they are unjustifiably ignored...

It's a shame. Especially since the whole alt-country/Americana seems to be such a prosperous ector in indie music (eww that sounded so meh), you'd think they'd get some love

wednesday at the theatre is an opening gig for jam act perpetual groove, who by some stroke of magic have been selling out the theatre consistently. should be a good gig for them as far as that scene goes, having just recently embraced acts like wilco very intensely.

I should be doing board/audience at the 40Watt Saturday night. Can't stomach Perpetual Groove or their crowd at all.

Willy...did you record the show last night? I think the band sounded very good in that huge room...

How are you getting around having to put it in the LMA area? Open Source is supposed to only accept stuff from the artists themselves, and live shows are supposed to go to the LMA, where the artists have to sign off on it . . .

just upping it into open source. i have approval from all of the artists i've been taping though.

They'll probably have to get moved to Live Music Archive. They have to authorize a Summer Hymns area (which would rule of course) in an email to archive, rather than just verbally to you. . .
