I highly highly highly recommend that you pick up the tour CD if you see them on tour. 20 some odd songs...some you've never heard, some you have heard...but differently. It is a GREAT album. I hope they release it. $10 well spent. The time period of songs span from 1994 to 2004. Pick this one up.

Well the good news is that it has Orange Twin stamped on it...which is Andrew's label. So maybe...just maybe...this tour CD is a preview of a release. That said, it is so damned good that I would buy it as soon as you see it on the merch table. The 1994-2004 span gives a really nice look at the evolution of Andrew's work and song-writing. You also see that the new stuff is not all that different from the old in places...and that the old...is still so F'ing good!

Remember Elf Power's Come On EP? I remember Andrew was kind of mad that some stores were getting copies and selling them...he wanted it to be a tour-only treat for fans.
But of course, it came out eventually, at the tail-end of the Nothing's Going to Happen CD, so there's hope.
Treasures from the Trash Heap has the Orange Twin label on it, but I don't think it has a catalog number, does it? (I'm at work right now and can't check.)

I can try and pick up extras tonight if anyone is interested. $10 each, plus $3.85 for USPS Priority shipping. No profit for me, just trying to help out those that forgot or aren't able to see Elf Power in their own town.
Reply here if interested. I'll be checking for the next 3 hours.

Hello lou2ser, I'd be very interested. But I live in Europe so tell me if it's possible. Thanks.

Use http://ircalc.usps.gov/ to figure out how much postage is. Add $10 US to the postage and its yours.

Thanks but I don't know how it works... Don't know the shape size and weight. I usually pay around 6$ when I buy cds from the States. But I can pay a little more to be sure. Tell me what you prefer and how I can pay you.

Looking at the site $6 should be more than enough. So you can paypal $16 to yetter at gmail dott com. If you're anti-paypal you can send me a check or money order drawn on US funds. U2U me for the address.

is anyone else going to a show willing to do this? you'd become beloved.
05-23-2006, 01:35 AM
you sure would! but not as much as Lou2ser, he not only got the cd's but got them autographed as well! He has had an active role in spreading rare e6 music as mp3's but now also in a non-virtual way!
Yeah--mine came in today. Lou2ser, you're the best, seriously.
I've got some Of Montreal shirts for your database..I'll email you the photos once I steal my camera back from my sis.

Lou2ser should be given some kind of Townhall Person of the Year award or something.
05-23-2006, 05:37 AM
I agree but I think it should be given equally to him and you.
