My initial thought, for no reason in particular, was that I probably wouldn't be bothered to get this, but after hearing the songs on myspace I'm rather excited. This sounds like good stuff, and not really derivative of anything else.

wow, that actually sounded really impressive.

The new CD was available during HHBTM Popfest. Its pretty good. I'm awful at writing reviews, so thats all I'm going to say.

Yeah, they've been selling it at live shows, I think. And yeah, I'll stick with the "pretty good" assessment as well.

Tuning the Air and Minimal Animal are great tunes. I'm listening here at work, so I'll let you know if anymore stick out in my head.

Agreeeed. It was a tough choice between Minimal Animal and FTS.

"Sounds like: ...also, trying to find something you lost"

Thatís Grate! Certainly hear The Raincoats influence; very prevalent in Seed Split Open.... also Grate.

Are there plans for a vinyl release of the album?

I'm listening to the album right now.....this is really good. Finally somebody in E6 does the E6 thing (meticulous layer sounds) but applies it to a genre OTHER then British Invasion. I mean, the stuff the main e6 bands (apples, nmh, otc, cir system, of montreal....) always sounded great and fresh but all the lesser and newer bands have all just blended together into one great big mess this past decade. FINALLY, somebody steps out of the box and delivers something different and really good. Get this one.

it really is quite excellent

I got it off of eMusic, and it's honestly probably one of my least favorite E6 things. Not that's it's bad, far from it; but not as good as the majority of other E6 stuff that I have. For me, E6 implies goodness, but these guys are probably on the lower end of the scale for me.
Sorry, just had to give my two cents. I'll leave you Numbers lovers to it. :)

He was during this show:

He played bass at their show in KY. I didn't watch the video, but that's what I assume he's playing in there.

he played guitar at popfest i think.
