OK, so it's 2005 now. Not long to go until we finally get to hear Blasting Through.

Any news on a release date from anyone? John, can you give us something to go on?

So, the album is delayed because of OTC reforming to play at ATP. I presume Kelly has this info direct from the horse's mouth? I just want the album so much...

I have had recent experience in album-making, and let me tell you it can take awhile, especially when working with multi-layered lush arrangements, like CS and OTC tend to do. We have been working on our album for over a year and its still unfinished, still tweaking to do. I still don't know how some bands crank out albums in a week or two.

Wish I could have seen Olivia this past week...and I was just in Athens 2 weeks ago, too...

I saw an intresting rumor over at indietorrents that said this album is going to be delayed until spring 06.

Does anyone know if there's any truth to that?

kelly

So if they started work in 2002 then we have what? 34 more years left? I'll make it on my calendar.....

patience is a virtue, i believe yoda might have said that, but then again a whole other year would be rather hard to get through.

From Pitchfork:

After a six-year hiatus, the Olivia Tremor Control reformed to play at the Vincent Gallo-curated All Tomorrow's Parties in England this past April; now, they've announced select tour dates in the U.S. In addition, the Circulatory System (featuring Olivia Tremor Control members William Cullen Hart, John Fernandes, and Peter Erchick) will finish recording their new album this month.

Yes! So that means it may get release soon after?!

Probably Winter/Spring 2006 if they're finishing it up now. But who knows, it may be out in the fall.

Honestly, otc is playing shows again. That is the best fucking reason for the album to be delayed. Any questions

Well, when you're in Australia and don't get to see the OTC live experience, the new Circulatory System album is the thing to look forward to.

I'm patient and everything, I suppose I can keep my self busy, but I would just hate to die before it comes out. Also the album Circulatory System is like my bible you know, so hook me up with the new testament asap

According to that link Kelly posted in the OTC page (this one (http://www.icecreamman.com/festivals/arthurfest2005/article_399.shtml)), the next CD is going to be a double album!

if your talking about the album, when i talked to Will he said next year (i think he mentioned fall? but i may be imgainging that) and something about wanting to advertise and stuff this time, which adds time to the wait.
