Took them long enough, uh?? And then the only thing they can come up with is "the most normal-looking dude" in oM?

Anyway, it gets a 6 - which is neither good nor bad I guess, even though the review seems a lot more positive than the grade. I guess to the reviewer it was kind of like grading the paper of a kid you really really like and want to root for but who isn't that bright, y'know? (happens to me all the time, ahem)

with pitchfork, the reviewer isn't the one who gives it the point grade on their own, if I remember correctly, it's an editorial decision. that's why sometimes the review is more, or less, glowing than the 'points' given.

Glad to see you're still around!! Hadn't heard from you in ages! :)
And yep, that would make sense... But they could just go without the grade - the review is enough. Or maybe they're giving a grade for people who can't be bothered to read on? (admittedly, I almost never read their reviews... or anyone's for that matter)

Not sure how much this album resembles the album he was selling on the Hissing Fauna tour (which I bought), but if its much the same, the review is pretty spot on. I would have given it a 4.5 though

They gave Lady Gaga a higher rating so I didn't bother with the James Husband review.

.1 higher than they gave Skeletal Lamping...

More support for my opinion that Pitchfork should hire editors.
