i don't really see a reason why cs/cloud can't email said code-for-free-download

The digital download codes are inside the packaging so cloud doesn't have access to them. If I were you I would just download the album if you don't feel like waiting any longer.

I cant speak for them but..

I cant see anyone involved with this record being dissapointed with you downloading it. I mean you have already payed for it months ago and it was released last September. By grabbing a torrent you are going to get an exact copy of what you are going to get with the download code.

Yeah at this point who knows how long the wait will be. Last update said early december, which has obviously come and gone. Go pirate it.

Abel

Yeah, download a torrent. I don't think Cloud Recordings is associated with the RIAA, so you won't get in any trouble. Plus, you've paid for it.

Dihnekis

Of course, everyone reading this who hasn't paid for it, you should go buy it.

Cloud isn't made up of extremely wealthy musicians, and they need our support to continue to make wonderful music.

Thats true, they still do day jobs. The beautiful thing about piracy is that you can sample things before buying and also expand your taste. More diverse records get bought. I remember in an interview they had mixed feelings about the leak of signal morning or something. But they liked the fact they were the top downloaded torrent on a particular website. I think they only really had concerns that the unmastered (might be wrong, no audio expert) copy leaked and not the final one.

Honestly you should get it now, its superb! Its in my top 3 E6 records and probably my top 10 records of all time. You have waited long enough.:)

Edit: oh yeah the final version of signal morning has been up for months!

i wish i could get it now :(

i still have only heard the first leak of signal morning. was that the "unmastered" version?

Dihnekis

honestly i don't remember there being that big of a difference.

It was very noticable in woodpecker but other than that I could barely hear a difference.

Abel

Difference was pretty noticeable on Woodpecker, yes. Another difference is the fact that it was available in lossless the second time.

Like everybody said, if you paid for deluxe vinyl and are still waiting, there should be no ethical problem downloading from elsewhere while you wait. But if you're a Circulatory System fan you should be used to waiting - this extra bit of waiting time for the super deluxe version is ironic in a kind of perfect way.

Now... if there were a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 plain paper with a quick artistic sketch or squibble in exchange for the extra wait I would not object. Wink, wink.

I heard about this. The marble look is obtained from melted down Billy Joel albums that nobody wanted anymore.

Pretty sure the deluxe set has been sold out for a long time anyway. (Since August or September)

haha I got my brother to stay up well past midnight to buy this for me (I was somewhere with no connection) and it was available for weeks after!

Abel
02-20-2010, 07:29 AM
Yeah, I bought it literally within 10 seconds of it appearing online (Paypal makes things so fast), but it was available for a long time still.
