Holy fuck, that was the best show of my entire life. Circulatory System was spot on, played an amazing set, and then Faust went and destroyed any expectations I had. I loved the drummer! When he played tambourine in front he created so much energy!

We camped on Orange Twin land Friday and Saturday night. We dosed before the concert and stayed up until sunrise afterwards banging on the old piano at the girl scout pavilion and exploring the woods in the dark, playing guitar and uke. Met 3 complete strangers that shared the entire experience and were some amazing people :).

Oh yeah, and I swear I spotted Jeff there. Wearing the exact same hat and shirt I saw him wearing at the Ohio show. I was wearing the same shirt I wore that day too. I was looking for videos of the faust show and I found a video with him in it I think, on the left long hair and blue shirt and it only shows him for a second at 0:20. I didn't say anything to him, but I did the last time I saw him.

i think you're right about the video - the camera even does a double-take. i thought about going to this show but just couldn't afford to travel from texas this weekend. i'm glad it lived up to all of its possibility.

That's really incredibly awesome. I'm so jealous. It sounds like the perfect weekend.

thank you thank you thank you thank you

edit: wow, the sound quality is so good! this might be my favorite live recording of them. You can hear Bill Doss really well.

I have to agree - the performance is the main aspect that I look for and they sound vigorous and vital. Cheers again Sloan.

Listen to the improv w/ John and Heather, possibly my favorite part of the whole show.
