One of the new Vic Chesnutt/Elf Power songs has been up in the Optical Atlas jukebox for the past week. It's a really good album; I highly recommend it.

I was wondering too. But I'll be seeing them at the Casbah nonetheless

Thanks for the info...
Has anyone gone to any of the US shows?
Is it about the same?
They are playing a few hours drive from me, which would be worth it for a full or even half elf power set, but I'm not really into the vic chesnutt stuff. If anyone else has more info let me know.

Thanks!

Full Elf Power set followed by a full Vic Chesnutt set.

Sets have been pretty similar, which is to be expected since they haven't played that many shows together. The Vic set has consisted of most of the Dark Developments album, with a few old-school nuggets at the end of the show.

Here's my tape from Wednesday:

We published a review of 'Dark Developments' earlier today. Thought some of you might like it.

Yeah, those are my friend's videos. He said that the aspect ratio was screwed up on them or something, so he might re-upload them. I think they look okay. I'm going to have him upload some more, too (we got the whole show on camera except for Vic's two solo songs at the end - the battery died). The show was so awesome, though. I'm sure the one is Paris will be, too!

The Asheville show was easily the best set of music I've heard/seen since the Holiday Surprise tour.
