Page 118, headline "BBQ Mixtape".

In what must be on of the most discongruous "mixtapes" ever, I'll list the tracks (and their little blurb for the appropriate one):

1. DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince - "Summertime"
2. Outkast - "ATLiens"
3. Beck - "Tropicalia"
4. Iron & Wine - "House by the Sea"
5. Main Source - "Live at the Barbeque"
6. The Pharcyde - "Drop"
7. Nelly feat. Tim McGraw - "Over and Over"
8. Circulatory System - "The Lovely Universe": The warm psychedelic orchestration is ideally suited to a lazy afternoon spent outdoors...
9. The Fiery Furnaces - "Tropical Ice-land"
10. Madonna - "She's Not Me"

I mean, I listen to the odd rap song, but Nelly and Outkast? That's not even the sort of rap (if there were a sort of rap) that would mesh with CS.

Whatever, this is good publicity. Strange though.

It's fucking hard to get your band even mentioned in EW's music section, as they tend to focus only on mainstream bands--they tend to equate "good" with "sells lots" in my experience. Hell, just look at their 100 classic albums from the last 25 years list for a perfect example of this phenomenon.
