Yeah.... I live in Michigan too.
And I used to live in Texas, where they're playing like 12 shows. Loooovely.

Crap, I just realized this show is tonight.

I was planning on seeing the Dirtbombs in Chapel Hill, but if I can muster up enough energy to head back to Durham after work, Elf Power it is.

I caught 2 shows during SXSW and I plan on seeing a few more once they roll through Texas again. Drink some coffee and make the trip, its well worth it.

We saw Elf Power @ the Great Scott in Allston and if blasted our faces off with incredible awesomeness!

Elf Power, return to Boston soon, and bring us some more magical ass-kicking!

The SUNY Oswego show was cool, not too many people showed up and I normally like smaller shows but I expected more people to be there for Elf Power! Most of it was students who came to see them because it was free. Not the most exciting crowd for a fan who drove 2 hours.

I was at Oswego too. I was bummed about how few people were there, and how many people left after Kevin Devine. Oh well, it was awesome anyway.

Kevin Devine played a great set, too.

I uploaded some Elf Power videos to YouTube if anyone cares.

yeah, i really busted my ass to put that show together and no one from my school came. It's kind of depressing because central new york will never get the number one band frrom CMJ again. oh well

I'm in Syracuse and it was one of the best shows I've been to without having to go out to Buffalo. It's not your fault nobody showed up, just wish CNY had more people who were interested in good music.

A reliable source has strongly suggested that Elf Power are going to play Pitchfork, which leads into my not-at-all-going-to-be-true theory that the Olivia Tremor Control might be a part of the ATP Don't Look Back series...

In case you're wondering, my basis for the OTC comment is this simple math:

H&AH + Apples in Stereo + Elf Power = WHY THE HELL NOT??

lou2ser

Well, Elf Power + Apples = 2/5 of OTC.

Anyone going to Spaceland sat?
Well they were great but it was a short set b/c sadly they weren't headlining. Andrew doesn't interact (ever) with the audience does he?

austin show was awesome. the new record is great and the new tunes translate well live. and let's face it, eric and derek are about the best rhythm section around. can't wait till they come back this fall in support of the new record they backed vic chestnut on. elf power will be doing their own set as well.
